So I have the 5.5 and I want the longer bed from another tundra, is it possible? I like my crew max but I also want a longer bed.
Any modifications needed or is it just a simple swap that any shop can do.

No it's not. The longer bed will not fit due to the larger cab of the CM.

Doable, but not a plug and play modification. There’s a few shops that do it, I believe I’ve seen quotes in the $20k range if you’re paying someone. There’s a YouTube video of a guy doing one for his friend, but he already has the skills and tools.

The frame has to be chopped and lengthened

The extra length is mostly between the cab and the wheel well, so you need a longer chassis/wheel base. The frame can be extended but it will be very expensive.

it looked pretty good until you see how out of center the axle is in the rear wheel wells.
