New member. 2021 Tundra TRD PRO. 8794 miles. On interstate yesterday blowout front left tire. Made attempt to change flat tire. Simple task was impossible. Truck was serviced at dealership for oil change and tire rotation at 5000 miles. Couldn't remove anti theft wheel lug. Reached out to Toyota roadside assistance. They responded with a tow service. Despite all efforts of the tow tech, he couldn't remove the lug. He determined the lug was fastened with an impact gun. Truck was towed to the dealership. Dealership will install new tire. My question to Tundra Enthusiasts . As mentioned my Truck has 8794 miles . Will replacing one tire and running with uneven tire tread, harm or cause damage to my Awesome Truck [ drivetrain, transfer case, differential ect... ] Do i need to have dealership replace all 4 tires ? Need Advise ! Let me know. Many Thanks.

Change in pairs, it will be almost 1,000 mile difference.. Might impact alignment in front. Might throw off traction nannies and may damage your differential... Just saw a youtube short explaining this.

Are they stock? If so can you just run a new tire and your spare. Make your 8k mile tire your new spare.

I've always heard to replace in pairs. I wouldn't buy 4 new ones. I'd buy 1 new, swap my spare with the corresponding 8k tire and call it good.

Agree, always swap in pairs. Kinda sucks when the original two finally wear out but much safer to replace the pair (front or rear, not left or right).
