Wondering how much time you had welding the bumper together? Thinking of ordering 1 and was just curious on the hours it took to weld it? I’m going to get someone to weld it for me. Just trying to figure out cost and if it’s worth it?
Also, do they need the truck there for fitment? Thanks

It depends on the shop, but it’s a lot of work, it makes more sense if you “do it yourself”
And yes the truck needs to be with the fabricator for fitment

I’ll add this, their instructions are minimal if any, base piece didn’t fit without modifications. I spent probably 12hrs just mocking and tacking it, to then take to a buddy who fully welded and ground everything down. I then monstalined it myself after getting sand blasted

Thanks for the info. Was trying to get a ball park figure on labor hours. I definitely would have to take to a shop. I do not have any welding skills. Lol

Disclaimer that I have not done this yet, but I sent detailed pics of the kit (on CO's website there's a pic) and the final result, and a local welder told me he could knock that out in 2-3 hours. That included welding and grinding welds to be ready to prep for paint (the only part I am time-capable of doing), and testing fit on the truck.

I’m also kinda looking at the Coastal bumper (with the full tube option) for my 2004 AC. If it didn’t more than double the price, i’d kinda like to weld up their aluminum version.
