    Hi All,
Kinda freaking out. My 3 day old truck after being parked outside now has these super deep stains that will not come out. It was parked under a tree. Maybe some acorns and a little bird poop. Hence the wash. I can’t believe this paint was so sensitive!! Any tips? I’ve tried. No Rinse Wash and Shine to clean followed by P21s paintwork cleanser, followed by the “paint cleaner renewer” that came with the truck. This is all over my hood and deeply embedded. I leave my wife’s white car outside too, nothing like this has ever happened. IMG_0785.jpg

White vinegar might work. If not, clay bar them.

I have Lunar Rock and I only park outside. I've had similar stains and they come right out with my normal chemical guys carwash soap and a little bit of scrubbing.

Have a few of the same spots on my Ice Cap White. Didn’t want to use anything harsh on the new clear coat. They’ve faded a lot now. Ready to try something now though.

I had hot tar/ashphalt all down the side of my truck after driving it home from the dealer. I used multiple applications of Mequires Tar/Bug removal in a redcan per the instructions on the can. It took multiple coats, and you need to do it in the shade. And don't get aggressive. It was a lot more of spray it on, let it soak, and wipe off. Repeat , Repeat , and Repeat.

My understanding is that the "paint cleaner re newer" is a very light rubbing compound, and was told best not to use it unless you really know what you are doing.

Also Lunar Rock color on mine.

Is this on the paint or ppf? If it's on the paint take some isopropyl alcohol and a soft cloth, rinse with water right after. If that doesn't work you will have to get an auto bug and tar remover.

yeah I get those stains too. I noticed it more when it was brand new and paint was fresh. Once it hardened up and new wax, I get less of it.

Try Stoner Tarminator tar and sap remover. I used it to remove the rap guard glue on my hood. It’s about $7 at harbor freight. Spray it on a damp cloth. It’s clear coat safe

To answer a few comments, If you are touching the stains you can’t even feel, the clear coat is intact and smooth and glossy. The “poop” or whatever it was easily washed off with regular car wash. This seems to almost be like a reaction somehow on the clear coat or in the paint somehow.

I also read in detailer forums to try tar remover among other things. I guess try the most gentle first. Sales guy suggested I bring in to service but I’ve got to wait few weeks until I get back home. Letting my truck sit under covered parking until then. Still scratching my head about how quickly that happened to me.

thanks for the tips- super bummed this happened, and really loving the new ride otherwise.
