Dual rotor. Lever goes all the way to the handle before the brakes bite. Hoses looked OK. ABS and traction control confirmed. And a 6 axis IMU.

So I did a thing today, well 2 kinda.
always said I'd never owned a Pius, bought one on a lark 7 years ago. Been an excellent runabout. Time to go.
Been shopping for it's replacement. Always said I'll never own a green truck. Always said I'll never own a Ridgeline.
Got tired of car shopping, happened upon a 2006 top spec, nearly rust free green Ridgeline with a matching PawPaw cap. Bought it today.

    But it's okay - it's a first gen!

Hate the ride, hate the feel of the steering, hate the visibility. But i got it at wholesale pricing. It's my long car for those highway cruises to places away.
@Jack McCarthy back me up here - rust free is worth bending principles for in New England. Previous owner went to the @Tundra2 cover everything in stickers school of decorating. Must be 50 freaking national park stickers on each side window of the cap.

Caps look weird on Honda Ridgelines. Them things have a timing belt or a timing chain?

What kind of power upgrades can you do?

    What it do baybeeeee?

Wait... First gen Ridgeline as in a DC 1GT or a Honda?

Also did you ever replace your Tundra with another or a Sequoia?

This was my question also. I was like, "How is a DC that much different than AC/RC with all those things you said?"

I'm assuming he actually bought a Honda.

Cap fit is terrible. I don't know if it leaks, but the front edge is a good inch higher than the cab roof. Wind noise must be impressive.

Timing belt. Was done with the water pump 20k ago at the dealership. 50k past scheduled due date, but done in time, so all good.
Don't know if there are power upgrades available, but it has a Honda transmission. No way I'm giving this barge a power upgrade beyond BG fuel injector cleaner.

So yeah - actual Honda. :(
I found the perfect 2004 Sequoia, but learned the perfect Sequoia is a 2005. Couldn't find "The" 2005. Haven't found "The" 2004/2005/2006 Tundra 'Ridgeline'. I'm over-using my 2002 Taco. It's better than daily commuter, rack up highway miles with family duty status. My car isn't up to long trips on the highway anymore, so I had to get a new "car" for the highway miles. This should do the trick. 1 year older, 10k more miles, no back-up cam, 1/2 the mpg's, leather interior - but I'll never have to bring it to the Toyota Service Department. LOL, the guy at Honda service - his face said he understood how horrific the local Toyota service is, but he wouldn't speak ill. Everyone in town knows how much they suck, but they're the only one's that will touch a hybrid around here. I'm sick of being an expert in hybrid technology. Right now I need to drive & hand it off when something sounds off key.

And it will never, ever, ever require me to visit Toyota Service Center & it will never redirect any of my hard earned money to Toyota Service & Parts Center.

...Oh, there's also my neighbor.
He loves his tarted-up black Honda Ridgeline.
This is way nicer than his with his Maco repaint.
He's kinda a jerk, so I won't mind the 'mine is nicer' snub that comes from parking it where he'll see it. (So I can be petty.)

Dual angled heat colored fartcans. 10" wide wheels with 8" wide tires, and 'stance' it.

j35's can be pretty impressive. My buddies 6spd tl was a beast. 145-150mph easy. (Oops, his was a j32.)
