    Hi There,
I’m going to be trading my 2016 tundra for a 2024 really soon and am stuck on Tonneau covers after reading many many threads here. I’ve got a Truxedo Lo Pro now and mostly happy with it other than kind of annoyed with how much it waves around at high speed.

I was looking at something more rigid like the Sentry, Revolver X4s, and even considering the tri-folds like MX4. But the long term reviews of these more popular options make me worry about the durability of vinyl wrap since over aluminum my truck is parked outside here in Texas. I see tons of “one year later” posts that show delamination or other problems on these things.

I want to keep low profile and non-glossy finish. Obviously one that fits the 2022+ really well without much leaking. Not a piece of junk. Kind of thinking Lomax might be a good option but that new black urethane seems too much like my spray-on liner. Diamondbacks look cool, but really it is too high profile for what I’m wanting. I like the look of Retrax but to me it looks like it might scratch up too easily, just saw one in the parking lot that was all dinged up.

Reaching out to hive mind - anyone been in the same boat as me and found an obvious winner out there? So many options and it is really hard to trust the reviews given my situation of exposure to heat/sun.

Can't speak for durability due to heat (I live in Alaska) but I am very pleased with my Bak Revolver X4S, fits well, no leaks, doesn't flap around, looks good and probably more secure than most tonneau covers.

I personally have a Diamondback SE and am loving it. Build quality, fit and just overall design I’m very pleased with..!! Somewhere on here I saw a tread plate type that sat flush with the bed rails, I think it was a three piece fold up design. That might be an option for you. Can’t remember the make..
    Lomax… also check Renegade…

Concur on Revolver. Only had it two months but live in deep south with no issues with the heat so far. It rolls up and down very easily. I like that better than the folding the sections myself.

We have the previous version Bak Revolver X4. It was on our 2015 DC we bought used here in TX two years ago. It’s been great, but having some issues in the past couple months. Didn’t really fade…a good scrubbing and some vinyl treatment and it looks good.

    - the cover of the release mechanism is loose and doesn’t stay clipped in
    - The felt liner came unglued (not a hard fix)
    - the last several inches don’t want to fold flat now…not sure if the cover joint are kinked or what. Maybe needs adjustment
    - a strip of the cover material is deteriorating along the last fold

Assuming that the original owner bought it back in the 2014/15, seems like it’s held up fairly well. We roll it up and down a lot going dirt, biking and such.

Otherwise, I like this style more that expected. I always feel like I’m gonna pinch my fingers when I roll it up, but it’s never happened.

Still haven’t decided what I’m gonna put on my 21 CM. I may just buy a cheap roller to get me by until I decide and maybe a snag something nicer on Black Friday.
