2001 Tundra TRD 4x4 Access Cab
Hello all, I've been benefiting from this forum for quite a while, but didn't feel I had anything to offer until now. I have a single-owner (me) 2001 Tundra 4x4 TRD Limited Access Cab. I have really just maintained and driven it for 22 years, but I now have the time and inclination to use it for overlanding, and get a lot deeper into how to work on and repair it, should I have to in the 'wild'.
I recently did the "Big Brake" upgrade, going from the stock 199mm to the 13WL calipers, with drilled and slotted rotors, and extreme pads; all PowerStop. Am going to upgrade the soft lines to SS, but ran into a stuck brake line flare nut that I want to take my time getting unstuck. I'm also indexing the rotors, which is new to me, but what the heck.

I also just DIY'd new OEM lower ball joints--that was a real learning experience, but with pullers, actually less of a pain than dealing with brake fluid everywhere! Oh, and I replaced the gear oil in the rear diff, transfer case, and front diff-there's a smell you don't soon forget.

I'm happy to be a part of the forum and continue to learn from all of you, and maybe contribute here and there.
