I've been half heartedly looking for the speedo one but haven't had any luck in doing so.

Do you wanna share where and choice of matte or glossy finish?

For those who went with the ProTech what was your wait time? I know the order confirmation said they orders could take 5-7 days to ship but I am sitting on almost two weeks with no updates. I emailed them but havent heard back and just wondering if others ran into the same and the time estimate may just be understated.

So you can go from this (OEM), to this (pic2, no more fingerprints and no glare).

Protech was great but expensive for Canadians, I got it when it was new so it came fast.

I understand delays happen and don’t even mind them but wish they’d be more transparent/communicate better.

I heard back from ProTech. They audited their Tundra pattern as a few customers complained it wasn’t fitting well and stopped/delayed all production until validating.

Thanks. May need to look into this. The glare can be annoying.

Just updating my experience, I went with screen protech. Took almost two weeks to arrive after ordering. When I inquired they stated they had received complaints about fit and were validating. Mine fit no issues. I put the cluster screen on as well. Others mentioned it was harder to install bubble free compared to the main screen and I experienced the same. I thought I was good but the next morning when I went back out noticed I had probably a half dozen bubbles. Over the past month they have all disappeared over the past few weeks with the exception of one. It has noticeably decreased in size so optimistic it will correct on its own as well. I say all of that to say they state bubbles usually go away on two weeks my experience has been longer but don’t give up hope and rip it out.

Two week old tundra and light hit gauge cluster just right today. Looks like it’s been wiped with sandpaper. I’ve not touched it, so either dealer or factory. I don’t see any obvious edges that makes me think a film is on it. Anyone have a part number for a new plastic and I’ll just start over and put a protectors on it before I replace it? Gonna see if Toyota will replace it but would like to have a part number in case they won’t budge.

mine took about 3-4 months of summer heat to get all bubbles out.

Same thing happened to my gauge cluster but I was the idiot responsible. I ended up putting the screen protector from Screen ProTech and it hides the scratches 100%. Would definitely be worth trying before replacing the actual cover, if Toyota doesn't take responsibility.

The Spigen is a matte finish and the other glossy. Just finished a 1200mi 26hr trip and the Spigen was awesome. Day and Night. I noticed no loss in clarity at all with graphics, text, and even Google Satellite street maps. Very hard to see fingerprints too. Have to look at a very steep angle with the right lighting. It fit perfectly and no bubble trouble. Total install time, 5 mins.

Okay I feel dumb in asking this.

I see the pics in the thread which show the screen with and without the OEM screen film. For the life of me I can't determine if mine is still on there or if the dealer took it off. I picked with my nail on the corners, look at it in angles, didn't see a tab to pull, etc. I want to say its not on there but does anyone have a trick to validate it? Does anyone still have the OEM film on there and can take a pic up close?

Just bought the Spigen tempered glass and will install tomorrow. Just dont want it over the OEM film obviously.

Just stick a piece of masking tape or scotch tape at a corner and lift. If the OEM film is there it will come right up. It has no adhesive and is only held on by static. When I started to clean my screen before the Spigen install, just rubbing near the corner lifted the OEM plastic cover

*Note- If you have the OEM cover, make sure your cab is calm and no dust is flying around. Gently peel off the OEM cover and then immediately install the Spigen. It doesn’t need cleaning before install and the Spigen will go right on dust free. Just a few bubbles to push out with the incl squeege

I went with a matte screen protector as well, and I really like it.
