    HI All,

I want to run 37's on my Pro for wheeling. I also want to run my stock 33's for daily driving=gas milage and road comfort. Is this a bad idea? im okay with the time it takes to swap out wheels and tires. Will the alignment change, balancing? I know nothing about the subject. Total noob that wants to go have fun.

Options for lift are the Westcott spacer lift. This is the preferred cheap option but dont want to waste money if the ride is super bad.

Save up for a legit lift kit, dobison, icon, king, or other.

Talk me out of a bad idea.

    Cheers tundra homies!

    This is a terrible idea.

put 35’s on till you can install the setup you want for the 37’s to both fit and perform how you are wanting.

The amount of money saved on fuel will be totally negated after purchasing a second set of rims and tires, the time swapping them, wear and tear on the wheel studs being constantly retorqued, storage of a second set of wheels, recalibrating the TPMS, purchasing tech stream software so this could be done without a dealer visit, probably a few other things.

As suggested previously, purchase 35s and call it a day.

Relearning TPMS is in the owner's manual, I believe. Never had an issue with other vehicles, as well.. as long as they've had OEM tpms, they are recognized after a bit of driving. (We do lots of wheel swapping here for winter/summer tires).

He won’t need tpms in the 37” wheel set because it’s just for a day or two trip. But I think he’ll be fine with 35”. No worth cutting up a new truck for 2” of tire.

I think people underestimate how much you can do on 33's. I did some pretty impressive stuff in my 95 4Runner with 33x10.5's.

Some “core” guy I. The Facebook group just posted his truck on 38’s or 39’s and all he did was the basic body chop…. Can’t wait for the first time he actually goes off-road
