Wireless Charger for 2021 Console Kit on iPhone 14

I just purchased a 2021 Pro and the previous owner installed the wireless charger upgrade in the center console. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and this charger is completely useless as soon as I start driving it goes red (error???). My phone is in a Quadlock case for use in my motorcycles but even if I remove it from the case, it still won't stay charging.

Are there any adjustments/mods to make this work with my phone before I start hacking up the interior plastics to install Quadlock wireless charging setup?

I actually have the original console tray that came with the truck and was going to experiment with mounting a Quadlock mag safe wireless charging head in there. Then I was going to run that cable to the data connection for wired apple play. Don't care for Bluetooth apple play.

I've been reading up on these. Cheap $90 Chinese units that the majority of owners say don't work. Need to run a review filter on AMAZON, the +4.5 star ratings are bogus.

 

They work just fine as long as you don't have an iPhone. I just removed mine today and went back to the OEM tray with Quadlock MagSafe Mount and ran data cable extension. Underneath the center console and into the tray. Came out pretty nice and I'm happy with it.
