The Falkens are an All Terrain tire and the Defenders are a highway tire.

Falkens are 47.4 lbs and the Defenders are 40.6 Lbs. You will be fine with either one if you are staying with the 275/65/18, but the Defenders will get you a little better gas mileage.

Michelin LTX M/S 2 or the Defender variant. I've had several sets of these on my 2012 Tundra. I'm in the Great Lakes region and the do very well in highway and backroad snow and ice. Quiet, long lasting. I actually dropped down several sizes to P255/70 -R18's on my stock aluminum rims to get better fuel economy. I think the narrower profile does better in deep snow since they don't tend to float on top of the snow rather they bite in better. Still great traction through winter snow and ice when I'm steelhead fishing.

I ran the Falken wildpeaks for 2 years, and the were great. Slightly less cushy ride and a little louder, but they perform great in everything aside from really gnarly mud.

Can't comment on the fuel economy because I have stupid good luck with all my vehicles beating the EPA estimates, and I just get in and driver. No hypermiling nonsense.

Sorry, One more question... How does it work with the tire sensors??? If I am not having the tires done at Toyota, how do I got about having the factory sensors replaced or can they just use the existing ones?

The sensors are attached to the wheel. They don't have to be touched for just a tire swap.

Sensors are in the valve stem, no need to replace if working properly. You might want to have new batteries put in though since they are accessible.

I'll put out the Nokian Outpost AT's for an option.

Thanks again everyone that made suggestions, after reading your posts and doing some additional research I decided to go with the Falkens, it has only been a day, but I am very happy with them so far!
