What is the purpose of remote start when the environmental system completely turns off on shutdown? I have to get into a 120° truck and start it and then turn my A/C on.....Dealer said that is normal but why?

That is not what mine does I leave the ac on auto and when I remote start it’s cool when I get in . Providing I start it early enough.

    Huh?
Leave your AC running before turning the truck off, and when you "remote" start it, it will run in it's last state.

Hell, these things are still so simple and stupid that my truck auto connects to AndroidAuto, if the phone is close enough to it, and plays music (for its own amusement, I assume) when remote-started.

Turn the below setting to OFF and it will keep your ac setting where you had it last. Moving forward you won't have to manually turn on the ac anymore.

Yup. Took a while to figure that out on my wife's Highlander.
