15% silverish-blueish mirror tint on all the back windows, 25% ceramic tint on driver and passenger window,
5% ceramic on the eye brow (top of windshield)

That would look sick on a black truck, wouldn't mess with your night vision too much and still be legal in TX.

    And be a 1GTaco throwback

@shifty` so are you particular to this 5 lugger 97-00 2wd front end?
    I'm not a fan. It's a weird mix of 6 lugger 95-97 with a hint of 6 lugger 98-00.
All in what I see as a less angry looking configuration. Tame even.

    upload_2023-9-5_16-7-43.png

That all said I'd drive the hell outta this truck haha. Especially if it's 5vz 5 spd.

I prefer gold or silver much more. Dunno, just a preference, but that blue looks cool too.

There's one just up the street from me. I really need to get off my ass one of these days and knock on dude's door to ask about it.

It looks like a riot, I'm tempted to toss a yak in the truck and come hang out one of these times. I think I need to hit things when it's not so ballzout first, though! If that's even a thing. I got the impression there are times of the year when it's a bit more chill.

:yes:So with the Gauley they get water 6 weekends out the year on the upper. Opening weekend is usually pretty wild, and the next weekend being Gauley Fest is pretty wild too. American Whitewater puts it on every yr with vendors, food trucks, live music etc. Tail end of September into first of October would be amazing time to go. The Gorge is already an amazing sight but would be that much more awesome with the leaves changin color. Crowds tend to calm down as the weather cools.

My truck never had protector boots. I swear I've seen a part number for those things on here somewhere, although I don't see why you couldn't reuse if they aren't damaged or just not run them at all. Just need to make some kind of plan for what you are going to do to make sure you have the right length bolts.

I ordered the "green" bolts the first time around. Have since replaced with the ARP bolts though. As far as part numbers, the number I sent you is the one they listed in the spiker test. You'd probably have to order to find out for sure, or call a dealer that can put them in their hands.

I have the windshield ceramic tinted in the best gen, also my current daily and the 2 trucks before that. It's a game changer in the Texas heat. I wouldn't do less than 70% though.

    summer tires = 5, winter tires = 10, trail running = +2 spares for 12. So 3. 3 sets.

x2. Did it when I moved to FL. Held up for years without any issues. Huge difference getting into the car with leather seats.

    @NUDRAT seems reasonable to me!

For whatever reason oem Toyota wheels around here are dirt cheap and plentiful, so ill snag another set at some point. I do like the idea of having a full-size spare (maybe 2?) on the final version of the adventure rig.

Ive had the truck for 2 months now and only driven it a handful of times. Just gotta wrap up a few projects over the next 60 days and then I'll be new boot goofin' for the winter.

There is a clear tint. Nobody's going to notice it on your windscreen, but it'll keep the heat out.

edit - should'a read on. @shifty` got this.

Yea, i had my numbers backward. The llumar air ceramic stuff is what i'd go for for the windshield. May just go back to the place that tinted the doors, because they offer a lifetime warranty. But i'm gaudy, i think the metallic stuff would look cool. But i drive alot at night, so i cant darken the windshield.

might look into going double fancy.
