Has anyone had de-chrome on 2023 tundra? Window chrome, rear bumpers? And can provide part numbers? If any photos of your truck would be amazing

Emailed a vehicle wrap place with photos and was quoted 855.00 for blackout. Trying to save a dollar but not trying to pay twice for overlay failure.

I expect I’ll hear back from painted oem or actually get my parts sometime next week. I’ll update and maybe that will help with decision making.

Good eye on the matte black being cheaper. I was about to lose my mind with how much a full gloss black chrome delete was going to cost

We're making overlays for the rears and window trim. I expect you'd pay maybe a 1/3 of that quote with us.

There was a thread a while back where some one said they were able to remove just the outer chrome trim piece of the door handles and paint them, I believe they said it was held on by a couple clips and 3M tape. I was going to try using sulfuric acid to strip the chrome off and expose the black abs plastic underneath, which in theory could be done with all the chrome parts. A word of caution when using acid to strip chrome like this, the dissolved chrome will be super toxic (think hexavalent chromium from the movie Erin Brockovich), you can't just dump it in the sink.
