I think I have narrowed my dash cam search to the Venture N4 Pro3

I believe the only way to use the parking feature is to hardwire. Will this drain the battery enough for issues?

Would be nice for some feedback on this device as well. (especially placement.

Thank you for any info and it's nice to see a Forum for these tundras.

Many products can use an accessory called 'hardwire kit'. My Redtiger cams use them. They may be universal to most dashcams but research what the Venture people recommend.

I hardwired the N4 first time without using the low battery turn off. Somewhere around 2 weeks battery was fairly dead and truck wouldn't start. I also had left the OBDII bluetooth dongle plugged it and I'm sure that didn't help. Second wiring I put in the Vantrue low battery cutoff and pulled OBDII dongle, no problems since but the camera obliviously quits recording when low battery point is hit. The whole wire up is in one of the other 3 Dashcam threads.

I can't speak to that model, but my Blackvue cam shutsdown when the voltage reaches a certain level...I usually can go 2-3 days without driving before it shuts down.

I think I’m going to go the blackvue route. @
