Going to have these installed in a week or two. I'll have them set on the top notch. They are going on my 2020 with 55k miles. Should I need anything else? I would think the shock mounts should still be good. Will have the alignment done at the same time.

I ran these for roughly 20k miles. I had the coachbuilder 1” shackles installed at the same time. Just my 2 cents.

As @Cement20 stated I installed Toytec shackles on the 1" setting after my 6112 install.

5100 on the top setting will have your truck sitting pretty level.
I had some nanny issues (engine cutting out) on sharp turns so I lifted the rear a little to get some rake back..

    With rear shackles

The engine was cutting out because you were level? Why do you think that was it? Do other people have this problem?

he means the traction control would kick in much easier.

My 5100s are set on the middle setting and I felt the truck was dead level. I ended up lifting the rear 1” after a week because I missed the rake.

At least in my 2014, there is a yaw rate sensor sensor under the console that monitors truck roll.
On fast turns, that's how I drive, it would decrease the engine output (or hit the brakes I can't remember) when it sensed too much roll.
Probably part of the Vehicle Stability Control system.

There is a mod somewhere to stick a washer under the rear of it and make it think the truck still had the stock rake.
I'd drive your truck for a while if you like the level look.
You might not even experience the issue I had..

Apparently it’s to help avoid loosing control when loaded.

Yes, you do, probably bulkhead door to back door with no daylight coming through until you hit the bulk stops.
Oh yes, I remember those days...

Can the safety sensors be recalibrated for the new frontend ride height?

I look to put in 5100s fronts in 2 weeks and hope to minimize lift and keep stock height, looks like the lowest setting for me!
