definitely the best high clearance rear bumper I’ve come across. What tool did you use to cut the bed? I see alot of people using an angle grinder, but a die grinder with a cut off wheel seems like a better tool to use

I used an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. The larger wheel helps keep a strait line.

I have one of these bumpers coming in November. Did you get any kind of template to help with cutting?

Measure 3+ times based off @STravis instructions and you’ll be good. Take your time. Cut slow as the paint will start to get hot and bubble. Be careful with the harness routed behind the fender on both side(I clipped mine on the passenger side). Enjoy some beers afterwards.

It’s a hidden hitch behind the license plate. @STravis did a badass job engineering this bumper!

The base bumper is $1,500, dual swingouts are $1,200 and tube bedside protection is $350.
We're about 12 weeks out currently.

That right there is a discount in my opinion. Best rear bumper out there for the second gens! All the gussets and extra supports welded on makes it robust. :curls:

We have two versions of our front bumper, a standard replacement and a high clearance. Which are you interested in? Lead time ~12 weeks. We do accept PayPal.

They both look awesome. I assume the high clearance requires trimming the plastic below the headlights? What are the prices on both? Is lead time different for the different versions.

Lead times are the same. The high clearance does require trimming a little bit.
The standard is $1,100 + 125-175 for the mid hoop depending on whether you want 1.75" or 2.25" tube.
The HC is 1800 and comes standard with the grill guard.

Is that in raw finish? Do you recommend powder coating or painting?

I did self etching primer and 3 coats of bed liner. It’s holding up well.

It's raw. We don't ship anything powdercoated. I do recommend powdercoat when you receive it though.

I will drive down and pick it up, I am just north of you in ABQ. Do you have a recommendation on a powder coater?

Travis has a local powder coater, the guy does great work. If you’re picking up the bumper I would recommend using him and having Travis do the install. I’m sure Travis will chime in shortly. Travis and SOB fabrication have a booth at the New Mexico 4x4 rally the weekend of September 22-24 in Ruidoso if folks are interested in checking out his work.image.jpg
