Might be something to do with recent recall on fuel lines leaking and catching fire.

The GTD is such a bold move by Ford. I love it. Dry Sump V8 instead of the eco based motor in the GT which is great too. Farley is saying the street version will lap the Ring faster than a GT3 RS. Who knows but 800HP helps.

At 2000 copies they will be hard to get and I'm sure sell at a premium. I wonder if Ford will limit resale?

I hope you're right, but I'm sure you're well aware horsepower doesn't mean everything on GT circuits, and Porsche is typically well underrated with their published vs dyno results. Anyways, I'm intrigued by Ford Performances foray back into racing. They certainly have pedigree with the GT

Yes it’s 300k, made in limited quantities. But who am I to question Dr.Zoid. I’m sure he has the coin, but only select individuals will be allotted this steed.

It’s a pretty cool sounding but I don’t have 300k to tie up.

NHSTA will no doubt outlaw cigarette lighters due to random fart fires.

I think the TRX is well worth it I had the opportunity to drive one and it made me smile almost as much as my Camaro does. The Supercharger whine sounds great with the V8 as it is just a blast to drive.

Theres nothing random about fuel line fires on 3rd gens. There's a recall they haven't prepared a remedy for yet.

Is there something inherently wrong with the design that is hard to fix?

Yeah I’ve seen some recent diy fixes on the Fb page. Some are good and look viable. Some look like they might accelerate the potential for a fire.

Quite a few people asking for pics of the hose location because they’re impatient . Then when I look at their post history they ask questions why “why doesn’t my hybrid charge to full” or “why does my oil pressure gauge read low in hybrid mode”, and I think to myself I hope they have GAP

Since it’s been a long time and we are going back to the ford, let’s show that quality is job 1, ha

I did see a f-150 BAP platinum anti matter blue truck up here yesterday which is the exact one I was going to buy if I went ford, it was a nice looking truck and color although I’m not a fan of the window dip at all

paging @Bannerman. Your fav video , haha

I hate the window dip. Only reason I like it in the raptor is it helps with my curb checks

I have a 2019 F150 XLT that I got for my work vehicle.
It is a complete POS. Tranny slips. Engine noise. Front end is loose. Seats are shit.
My Ram is head and shoulders better IMO.
The 3.5 twin turbo is a spunky engine. It would smoke my 5.7 Hemi.

Nah, I haven’t put that up in a long time, but since this thread never dies , once in a while a refresher post is good

the only touching I need to do is bang my head against the wall for even thinking about buying a ford

I wanted to buy this too, but damn the seats were total shit, the ride was terrible and the shifter was the dumbest thing ever, forward was reverse and you had to hit a button for park, it was awkward since all other vehicles are forward for park

nice tow hooks though, I liked the ford way better than this , even though I wanted that 6.2 with a borla on it

No, previous gen. Some kind of issue with a module in the screen on 2019-2022s, apparently.
