    Factory lift
I just bought a 2023 Tundra SR5 TRD Off-Road with a dealer installed factory 3" lift. When I looked under the truck I noticed the TRD skid plate was missing. Having checked out this forum, it didn't surprise me. To be fair, if Toyota is going to continue to sell the lift kit they need to disclose the skid plate fit issue and come up with a new plate or a viable upgrade kit.

As had been done by someone on this forum, the dealer cut away the upper corners of the plate and slipped it between the sway bar and the rest of the undercarriage. While I appreciate what the forum participant did to get their kit on with very few options available, I'm not comfortable with my sway bar being outside of the plate.

Others seem to have mitigated the problem by using spacers that allowed the sway bar to sit behind the plate as intended. My question is this, how much clearance do you lose when you go the custom spacer route and are there any negatives?

    Has anyone tried anything else?

Does anyone offer an aftermarket plate that fits properly and protects the sway bar?

On my end, I am leaning on Toyota to come up with a reasonable solution. Sending the truck out of the service garage without a skid plate is not acceptable, and defies why most would spend the money on the kit. I think a new plate is in order.
