Who out there in the ether is hauling MTBs on a tailgate pad with a bed rack and RTT?

I have a double cab 6.5" bed. The goal is to haul a few MTBs on the tailgate pad, keep the hitch open for a trailer, and keep the RTT height and low as possible in relation to the cab height but still fit a 29" MTB. Looking for some combinations of bed rack bars and 2-3 person tents you guys are using, custom rack might be my only option.

I run a Retrax Pro, Overland Freedom rails, and a Kuat bike rack to cover all of my hobbies and interest when going outdoors. I usually have a kayak on top of the tent when I am camping in FL. I know it is not exactly what you are asking, but sharing perspective.
