Yes, nice looking camper. Make sure you have stabilizer bars and brakes hooked up on trailer. Be prepared to slow down ahead of time while towing.

Just fine as long as you don’t over fill the trailer (and truck) with too much extra weight.

The thing I like about this trailer is the rear axle is positioned way back so it’s lighter in the front and axle are spaced out more to reduce sway like 42” apart.

Yeah, the towing capacity on a new hybrid is like 11,000 lbs. The Hitch weight is the only concern, but I doubt it's terribly high. With a WDH, you'll be fine. My camper is about 6,000 lbs loaded and the hybrid pulls it up hills with no problems. My old 2018 4.6 Tundra struggled with hills.

Should be no problem. At least I hope so :) I have a very similar setup (27' Keystone Elite) that I am currently towing easily with a 2021 Z71 Suburban. My Tundra should be here in a couple of weeks so we will soon find out. Weight distributing hitch and trailer brakes are a must. My only concern is that the Suburban has auto-leveling feature so I'm not sure how much the trailer will 'squat' the Tundra (if at all).

Here is my limited with the stock rear air. This is a 34ft older trailer that is 8600 and it towed it fine.

TT is within spec of what truck is rated for, should be good to go. A good weight distribution hitch makes a difference. I run a weigh safe true tow and have been happy with it.

What do you mean by 'stock rear air'?

Just keep an eye on your payload numbers, it adds up quick for the Tundra. Go to a CAT scale if you can and get a measure of your front axle weight, rear axle weight, and your trailer weight. You may have to tweak your WDH. With the tongue weight and cargo it’s easy to overload the rear axle on the Tundra.

It’s the stock rear air bags that come on the truck. I don’t have coils just air bags

Limited-time deal: K-Source 3891 Snap-On Towing Mirror With Ratchet Mount - Each https://a.co/d/hUDt4d5 That’s the next step after installing air bags I will definitely need these towing mirrors I know they’re ugly as sin but,,, easy to remove and install.

Thanks. Looking at the build sheet for mine (truck is still two weeks away), it doesn't look like it is coming with the air bags.

Should tow it just fine with a WDH. Our TT is only about 500# lighter than yours (5500# dry) and the Tundra tows it like a champ.

No air suspension. Truck rides and handles great when loaded up.

I have 22 Trd sport . My trailer is the same weight and size . Pulled with ease it felt I can’t tell the difference from towing 5000lbs or 7000lbs
However I got airbags as my truck squatted pretty good and I could not stand the site of it ‍♂️

I towed a 25' with heavy tongue weight behind my 2012 with a family of 4 in the cab and box loaded with shit...no problem. On highway I would have the electric trailer brakes maxed

Put all your crap in the camper not in the bed of the truck. Watch the tongue weight use a good WDH.
My 2012 tundra was more stable vs the 2018 F150 I just sold and I think my new 2023 platinum will be even better.

Interesting. Maybe your TT is really tongue heavy? Mine runs about 750# on the tongue when loaded up and the truck sits perfectly level with just the WDH.

I think you should be fine with a WDH and some form of sway control. I use a dual cam WDH system which does both WD and sway control. Have used that system for the last 15 years.

Bank on 1500-2000 pounds over dry weight once you add batteries, propane, food, equipment (stuff) and if you travel with water in your tank. Be careful with how much weight you carry in your truck as well.

My truck is the bigger one with full doors , I would have my generator in box of truck and front trailer cubby full of camping gear

25 or 50 gal fresh water tank is going to be 200 or 400 lbs added to the trailer.

most trailer weights are dry weight. so adding water, 2x20gal propane tanks, food, camper gear in storage bins will add up pretty dam fast.

I did not have any problems setting it up, but I have not used the actual backup assist so can't say for sure it is working as expected. I entered the length manually.

did you get the advanced package? If so, you have the load leveling air bags, if not , you don’t

that’s how the platinum and 1794 works through 2023 anyway

i have them and they are great
