I have a 2006 Tundra step side, access cab, SR5 with the 4.7 L V8. I attempted to replace my tailight wiring harness and ran into a snag. The bayonet tabs on at least one of the sockets (turn signal), are slightly different sizes and placed slightly differently than the factory socket. I can't engage the socket into the housing. The parts department assures me I have the right part. Any suggestions? I'd hate to have to buy two new housings.

Update by Mr. Dumas-I was using the wrong socket! I'd delete the post if I could figure out how.

All good. Glad you figured it out.
