@HulkSmurf14 sweet 55! My plan will be to pick up a 59 f100 4x4 and restore.

Badass!! I'm more impressed with how well everything works because it's so simple! Overbuilt and underpowered is the way of old!

Almost a "free" upgrade depending on how much you get for a TVS 1900.

Just got ARH headers in the mail + matching 3” DD exhaust. Question: There are three O2 sensor bungs on each side, one on primary, one at the collector and one post cat. I’m guessing I should use the primary + post cat and block the collector hole? Sounds like this may be a new design update by ARH.

Sounds like they got a spot for a wide band afr sensor. Saves on welding in a bung.

What would be the consensus here? Should i perform some hackery to make my old S&B intake fit with the maggy or leave it alone? I always liked how it looked (and sounded)

good luck going down that rabbit hole of no wins lol. I tried hacking up my stillen tube for the maggy and didn't work. Now I have a stillen box with hacked up intake tube I can't sell. Best to sell it and get the maggy box before trying to cut it up

That's what i thought :( I tried selling it but kept getting crap offers so i just kept it. If i remember correctly i tried messing with it quickly when i put the blower on and all i really needed to do was cut about 2 inches off the filter side of the tube. But maybe it's not worth it.

Ok rig update. Finally got the evap codes sorted out. Now ready for the tune but I just ordered another pulley lol. Going down one more and found a 1/2" shorter gates HD belt. Once it's all on and tuned I'll get another draggy run in the books. Current boost for reference is spike to 9.3 and holding 8.3

I think it is possible but you'll probably throw more time and money at it than it may be worth. Custom tube (if you need one) is about $200, once you tally couplers and all the other shit you need you'll be north of the price of a box.

    Well, getting closer...

Got the truck back home to OR, Harrop arrived, Ballenger Motorsports wideband, and DW injectors arrived. Airbox lid still backordered. BUT, I accidently packed my HP Tuner in the U-haul box that's sitting in Pflugerville, TX, waiting for me to sign a lease there. Depending on timing, I may just install the blower as a "stage 1" from Harrop and keep the RPM's and skinny pedal down until I get it to TX.

Either way, I'll get the fuel pump installed tomorrow while the tank is low on fuel and I'm in my own shop.

    Hey All!

I've been lurking this thread for a while and finally decided to post. I found a new, in box, TRD supercharger and fit kit that I'll be installing on my 21 LR Pro soon. I know the new TVS2650 just released but I have always wanted a supercharger with the TRD logo on it lol

The complete kit has been sitting in the box since 2015 (that is the date on the original shipping label on the box). I plan to have the supercharger looked at by SCOL and get the injectors flow tested to make sure they are both good. Everything is still in the sealed bags but I'd rather be on the safe side.

    Two questions:

1: I see a lot of people running wideband gauges. I plan to run one as well. Are people monitoring just one or both banks?

I don't particularly like the traditional round gauges so I was planning to run an HKS AFK sensor since I like the display and it can support two inputs/monitor both banks. I wanted to hear other peoples perspectives.

    https://www.nengun.com/hks/afk-air-fuel-knock-amp

2: Tuning is what I am worried about. I know there are a few software/companies but most of the people I've talked to really like one and warn me about others.

Ideally I would like to deal with someone local (SOCAL area) so if you have anyone has recommendations for shops to get a tune locally, please let me know.

Congrats! You'll be more than happy with the TRD blower, lots of arguments about the larger newer ones but it's really splitting hairs at that point imo. Any blower is better than no blower, and if you save a few grand in the process good for you.

    SCOL are awesome.

I think everyone monitors only one bank. Never looked into the guys you linked, but AFR is AFR so if it fits the aesthetics you want then go for it and if you can watch both banks thats even better.

I'll let others chime in about tuning. There's lots of options, but everyone has their pros and cons. As long as you get any tune, then you'll be better off in general.
