The key fobs I've had for years stopped lolcking when the kock button was pressed. I bought new (1 new, 2 used) fobs. I ran the deprogramming steps to make sure they no longer worked and then programmed the new ones making sure at the end of each one that the appropriate lights and clicks occurred.
The new fobs unlock the doors and the emergency button does what it's supposed to do. However, they don't lock the doors (0 for 3).
I'm guessing it's not the fobs.
    Thoughts?

I've checked to make sure that these are the correct fobs:

That is the proper FCC according to 2005 Owners Manual but if you do mean RS3000, they went to RS3200 starting in 2003 MY.

When you press lock, you do not hear a click and the piezo buzzer does not chirp at you correct ?

Sorry. My oops. The actual fobs are RS3200. BAB327131-056 and made in Japan. No click. No chirp. No noise. Nothing.

Sorry. Can't get the image to load. Is there a separate circuit on the truck for the locking action? The unlock does chirp and click. Works!

If the old fob locks but doesn't unlock ...
And the new fob locks but doesn't unlock ...

Behavior is same with both, thus logic would dictate the key fob isn't the problem. Which would lead me into the direction of: (A) This is a lubrication problem, which I find unlikely if it's happening on both sides and you hear nothing, or (B) it's a problem with the RS3200 module in your truck.

All that aside, the left remote looks like a knockoff compared to the (4) different OEM keyfobs I have in my possession with same FCCID, so it would be interesting to compare the circuit boards inside yours to ones I have.

Fixed it! None of the three would lock the door. No click. No chirp. Finally toggled the switches on the doors themselves. The one on the driver's door was caught/stuck halfway locked. Centered it and Shazam! Clicks and chirps on all three new fobs. Bet the old ones which I carefully chucked would have worked too. Not going dumpster diving.

    Good sleuthing @tda003

I was remembering wrong so I need to post a correction in true @shifty` fashion.

The one I got on fleaBay advertised as "OEM Genuine" that came in a legit looking bag looks as fake as yours, with the weirdo overly-pink button..

Two on the left are original to the truck. The one in the right is a used remote I ordered from someone in Japan. All four are currently programmed to my '06 with the RS3200 system.

Beside the two I photographed, there is a 3rd with no printing at all in the "FCC" box. All 3 now work.

As long as the FCC ID matches, in theory, all should work the same. Even if it's a knockoff.
