Anyone put one of these into a 2nd gen non JBL withou a factory amp? Do they make any kind of a harness? If not, where does it tie into? Have one coming tomorrow and kind of electrically deficient. TIA!!

FYI Autoharness house part number 7879 does what I was asking about

If you're debating this mod at all...stop and order the amp. The difference is incredible and it took more time to find the little scraps of wire than it did to install it.

@shannon I am considering adding a mini-amp to my 2021 non-JBL. How has your experience been with this upgrade? Anything you would do differently?

I put one of these in my 2015 and it was a nice upgrade. Was planning on doing the same in my 2020, but ended up with a new headunit. I have a used 445 if you are looking for one.

I had this amp in my Highlander. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade. I'm currently running a similar Kicker Key 200.4 in my Tundra. These little amps are very good for the money.
