    Hello everyone,
I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Tundra Access Cab, 4.7l, Auto., White in color. This is more of a rescue mission, the truck was headed to the boneyard with 273,000 on the odometer. This truck on the inside looks like a 30,000-mile vehicle, it's really quite amazing. The outside not so much, hit in the rear and then hit in the front. It took me several hours one day just to get what's left of the rear step bumper off, the severe "V" shaped trailer hitch, and the frame cross-section.
I'm certain I'll have pre-asked questions so I'll start there before asking live questions. My next project is to try to get the over-curved hood to set down closer to the tops of the fenders.

Thanks ahead of time to everyone for the support. I look forward to being here.

UPDATE: Uploaded some before and after photos of the rescue truck.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Sounds like a heck of a project - you ought to start a rebuild thread on here to monitor you progress.

Welcome from OKC! Check out the frame for rust very thoroughly before you begin investing too much. If the frame and all cross members are solid, get busy.

Yes, looked at the rear frame between the leaf spring ends on both sides. The bump stop is going to need some attention on the right, and the left has a small crease where a 1" hole was in the frame from factory I guess. A good friend is a magician with sectioning frames. Have to wait a bit for his job to slow down and then a trip to his shop.
    Thanks for the heads up.
