In the process of doing fluid changes across the board on a 2015 SR. Diffs and transfer case done, next up is the trans but for the life of me I cannot figure out where the return line is for it. Has anyone done a tranny fluid flush on the 4.6 that can positively identify the return line?

Assuming it's a similar transmission to the 5.7L I do believe it's a 24mm bolt on the driver side of the transmission. It's a sealed transmission, so you will need to snake a tube down to it, or get a fluid transfer pump. Only way to do it.

Thanks, I was able to find the fill plug. What im still having trouble locating is the actual line that goes to the cooler so I can pump out the old fluid. I can't find a line that goes all the way back to the transmission from the radiator in front.

Do you have a transmission cooler?
If you do they're on the passenger side will go up the passenger side firewall to the top of the engine, I believe.. May be wrong... If you don't have a cooler then you'll have to trace them from the bottom of the radiator.

I do not have the cooler. I spent extensive time under the truck trying to trace lines back from the radiator and have concluded that they simply do not exist. The 4.6 tranny seems to be passively cooled which seems hard to believe. I could not find anything coming off either the radiator or the AC condenser that ran back to the tranny.
