    Whatever this forum told me to do
    <scratching my head>

    what variables get tuned in a n/a situation?

    does it make it leaner at the top?

    knowing you only gain a smidge of hp, where is this hp hiding?

    knowing these 5.7’s pull timing all over the place, how is that mitigated?

    i gots to know

    Not much power gained when I had my ‘18 5.7 tuned on a dyno. A whopping 7 hp and 17 lb ft of torque. But, my peak torque is now at 2,900 rpm instead of closer to 3,800. That just means that the power is considerably more useable now. Night and day difference when towing!

    Otherwise, there are huge gains to be had in the transmission control. These are more significant than the power gains…

    I did a quick peek on HP’s site. Up to ‘18 specifically says “including transmission”. ‘19 and up doesn’t mention transmission at all.

    Can someone confirm if the HP software supports transmission tuning on ‘19-‘21?

    Good to hear. It’s not clear on HP’s site.
