Seems like clutch fan is working sounds like airplane taking off and can here it working and driving perfect temp but at idle sitting for more then couple min temp starts going up. I hold pedal down a bit fan spinning faster temp will start going down. Rad? Or maybe fan? Or water pump? But it's not weeping water

First thing is the gently pressure wash out the radiator/condenser if it hasn't been done in awhile.

Then check the fan clutch. I can't tell you exactly how it is on your truck, but they all do the same thing....it should turn easily by hand when cold, and much harder when hot.

Next thing is when in idle, and overheating, watch the coolant overflow for bubbles.
