Not going to lie...I vaguely remember him "@'n" you 3-4 pages back (or ten...dunno) but I don't even remember the topic. I love chilling here in this corner of the forum, but everything we talk about is in volatile memory and gets purged every time I drop a deuce.

 

They raise your rates if you drive it like you like it? Isnt' that the point of the car? I'm thinking that's kind of like when Uber said they weren't going to pick up drunk people anymore...

 

Yup. Lots of it comes and goes, and then comes back around.

 

They're already tracking everything you're doing, so you might as well go full in.

My wife and I bought a sleep number bed a few years ago, and they have a service you can subscribe to where sensors in the bed track your "sleeping" patterns. But I have my phone next to my bed at night anyway, so I guess that doesn't matter either. Not sure how they can take any more of our privacy, but I'm sure someone will find a way.

 

The crazy part is that it isn't being taken, it's been freely given in exchange for convenience and "features" without complaint.

 

@T-Rex266 My wife had a layover in Denver on the way back home from Reno, and said the Denver airport was the worst part of her trip.

Tell your pot head representatives to fund their airport better.

 

Everything about Denver sucks. I avoid it like the plague. Just tell your wife she's lucky she didn't have a 4 hour layover in a Greyhound bus depot. The airport would have been a dream by comparison.

We're not there yet, but I'm sure it's coming.... where the insurance companies use that data to determine if you were committing any violations, displaying aggressive driving behavior, etc. at the time of an accident to potentially place more culpability on you. They can already determine much of this through accident reconstruction and other investigative angles, but generally speaking that is only done in the event of a fatal of other serious high $$ incident.

I'm just thinking it will become much more broad stream in lessor incidents, and they'll eventually get 100% compliance by driving the policy prices through the roof for those that don't submit (I mean agree to the terms)..

Yeah, toes are definitely more difficult to come by, but nail clippings.... he may have opened a door that just won't close now!!!!
