2011 DBL RW

Have bed rug on tail gate and love it.
Was thinking about getting a “panel” because when I cook on tailgate with jetboil it gets knock over sometimes because the tail gate ridges

got a 12x18 medium gauge sheet metal from Home Depot
Brake cleaner to degrease and “rattle can” bed spray
Velcro on bottom to move as needed
I can leave it in place with tail gate closed.
