I'm the new owner of a beautiful old 2003 SR5 Tundra with 95k miles. I'd like to get a good repair manual (Chiltons?, etc). I have the owners manual (nice but not terribly useful for tinkering). Any suggestions?

Their subscription line is currently down for service, do you know what a year costs?

There's a digital version available that you can download but all the internal interactive software is not active and it has no easily searchable index or contents. With around 17000 pages, it's almost worthless. I have it, and have found a few things I need, but it's a pain.
I printed out what I found and hole punched it for future reference; wheel sensors, and antenna replacement.

RepairSurge.com has a manual of sorts for 7.95 a month. However, I find it difficult to get to what I want to see (like the differential oil and gasket). Their instruction areas are quite limited. I think they're a spin off from parts-monster.com. Useful, but not for tinkering.

The FSM is available on several forums. I have a copy I got I think on tundrasolutions forums. Works for me.

For anything else I will just fire up YouTube to get an idea of what I am looking at.

I downloaded a free repair manual for my old garden tractor and think that's a great idea if you can get one for your truck. Fwiw- I purchased the toyota service/repair manual when I took delivery of my truck. As a non-mechanic, it was easy to follow the couple times I've used it-brakes and wheel stud replacement. Those two savings came close to paying it off.

Ordered a Haynes from eBay. We'll see how helpful that is! Thanks for the input.
