Just finished changing the fluids in my front diff and transfer case. I just want to double check to see if the front diff torque spec is 29ft/lbs for both the drain and fill plug.

I’ve tighted both to 29ft/lbs but just read somewhere else the fill is supposed to be 29 ft/lbs and the drain is supposed to be 48 ft/lbs.

Please let me know if I need to tighten the drain plug more.

Any update to the front diff torque specs?

    Fill 29 ft/lbs
Drain 29 ft/lbs or is it 48 ft/lbs as per the spec?

    Function before sparkle.
Front differential drain is 48 lb ft. Rest is 29.

That’s at least what I follow.

I've read 29 for both, first time hearing about the 48.
