Nav app random beeping

2018 Tundra Crew Max Platinum

Nav app beeping randomly. Way to reproduce the behavior is to randomly touch my finger on the map screen, which bounces the center of the map picture around.

While this is happening, all other touch screen and button functions are disabled.

I can prevent by taking the screen completely out of Nav mode, for example, if I start a different app (e.g. weather).

It has to be something with the screen perhaps related to the Nav app.

mischievous ghost? Any ideas?
