Went for a ride, grabbed a HPT file that finally included the Innovate, damn thing kept disappearing. Truck feels great!

9.9 is as low as the AFR (for a split second) got, 8.3 high boost. 95 degrees & 55% humidity right now.

1% HP per 10* is a general rule of thumb. Some of the interchiller independent dyno runs support this but it can vary.

To echo your point I doubt there will be a significant difference between the two TVS 2650s (Maggie vs Harrop) even with I/C improvements.

OK, money spent and now I wait... About time to join you guys in more than spirit! btw, I did add the 80mm pulley and bought a used fuel pump basket off E-bay to retrofit the pump at my convenience without leaking gas all over the bench.

Tim said I'm too rich (too thin too?) lol, sent a file, got P2102 & limped home throttleless :( pulled the battery, reflashed, did not happen again. It doesn't seem to rev as happily as it had been.Sent new files, waiting to see what's what.

    P2102.HEIC.jpg

The throttle motor is controlled by the engine computer (PCM). If the PCM does not see the requested movement from the throttle motor, code P2102 will set. The PCM may also put the engine into "limp home mode", limiting the available power from the engine to prevent unwanted acceleration.

I'm considering putting a supercharger on my Tundra, the closest tuner to me (NW Arkansas) is probably DAP Tuning just NE of Dallas. Unfortunately I think his shop is not taking on any new projects according to his FB page. Anyone know if there's any shops maybe in Tulsa or anywhere in NW Arkansas or the surrounding areas that can do a full install and tune? Any suggestions or recommendations is greatly appreciated

Do you know what blower you are going with? If you haven't emailed the blower company they usually make recommendations for preferred installers, they might have someone closer they can recommend for you.

I did email a blower company a few months ago with a question but I never got an answer, I think it was a Magnusson (sp) producer or supplier. As for which supercharger to go with, I have made no decision on which one to I want

When you pick one they typically will name local to you preferred installers if you want their warranty. At least that is how it when I was exchanging emails with Whipple and Harrop.

Does this mean you got a bad throttle body, need a re-tune for the throttle body, or maybe both?

Fwiw, I called Superchargers online yesterday, Brian (owner) answered the phone on the 2nd? ring, I let him know what I was looking for and he had a custom invoice in my inbox (with an upcoming Labor day sale discount I didn't even ask for) in minutes. We emailed back and forth a couple times and had everything set within 30 min max. Would absolutely recommend them!

I can't remember if Toyota had a "learn new TPS" option in Techstream or if there's another option like some manufacturers.

    You did nothing wrong.

The other option could be to get the an ASE certified mechanic to do the blower install and get someone like Sniv's Speed Shop https://www.snivspeedshop.com/product/remote-tuning (@snivilous ) or Overland Tailor Tuning https://overlandtailor.com/tundra-performance-tuning to do your tune remote (sorry I don't remember OTTs forum handle here). The manufacturer may not honor the warranty though if you take this approach. Warranty is a precaution if anything goes wrong.

You might also try the regional subforum sections if you haven't asked there. Manufacturers usually have a handle on who they like to deal with for installs.

Installed new intercooler and pump. Went with a 5 row from ebay and a zzp pump. Old Bosch was getting noisy and the TRD intercooler had a few rows leaking.

And to think I thought years ago getting the stock one bored out to 79.8mm was adding some hp...;)

How much more surface area do you think it adds? I can visually see like 40-50% more...and does the zip pump actually flow more or just look new in its red port format? Not dissing at all...wondering if I should replicate your upgrade exactly!! :benchpress:

    Oh, and it looks great!

Viktor G had a video that showed the ZZp pushed more, I have no idea how much. I have that pump too.

The larger heat exchanger will definitely help lower the intercooler coolant temp. The higher GPM pump won’t make a difference in heat exchange performance however. The science behind why the extra GPM is negligible in reality is explained well in this article if you’re feeling nerdy. https://www.pmmag.com/articles/96339-how-flow-rate-affects-heat-output

Thanks. It's probably about 30-40% more surface area. I pieced together the SC setup and looked like there was electrolysis going on the intercooler as several rows were disintegrating. The old Bosch pump was on its way out and the zzp was decently priced.
The new intercooler has a port for temp sender unit. May install one just to see what the temp is.

Not sure how much more cooling but flows better. Although the Bosch plug fits but isn't locking in. Reviews say to order the plug with pump. Will have to order one.

Are there counterfeit RCF throttle bodies out there? Saw one selling for $350 and recently $446 new.

I ended up buying a full harness with relay so have one you can have, it clips into my ZZP pump.

Counterfeit parts in general have been a problem cant say it is rampant in Lexus TBs. There is a video on how to tell if a part is counterfeit by looking at the packaging; I think it was the Car Care Nut guy that gave the presentation.

I suspect my transmission thermostat may have been a counterfeit, at min a faulty part. Truck decided to jizz fluid on the dyno during a run. One of the barbed fittings shot out with the hose attached. I've not heard this happen to any boosted Tundras.
