I'm new to the site and have read a lot of posts regarding 2022 gen 3 with several identified problems, mechanical and cosmetic. Also have seen some beware 2023 posts, but overall, most of the posts claim that later year 2023, problems have been resolved?

Can anyone point to threads I should read regarding 2023? I'm still on the fence and have my eye on a SR5 with several factory upgrades, ie bigger tank, 14" screen, advanced tech, etc. Thanks.

Sounds like you just need to get a limited.

Yes, look for late 2023 build or even better 2024.

If you scroll through the last few recent pages of this forum, you'll find most of the issues mentioned.

The ones outstanding for 2023-2024 are throttle delay and possible engine bearing failures as these take some time to show up... Toyota never gave any explanation why random truck have engine bearing failures.. So far early 2023 with 10k miles had it too, so I would wait another half year to make sure late 2023s don't have this issue anymore.
