    We boarded doofus (real name Steve) when he was about 1.5 months into his stay with us. 2 weeks turned into over a month. It got him about 80% of where we wanted him, but just be ready for less than perfect. Like humans, anxiety is real and some dogs are just wired to be more "responsive" to their surroundings.

    The work to keep them trained afterwards is not light, either. It s amazing how quickly they'll regress.

    Good on you for doing what you need to do to give her the best chances of success in your home. "Easy" is returning them. Love is working through it with them. Just remember that she's still learning your rules.

    There’s actually a lot of science that backs that up. Quality is also important, but trying to get 60-70% off your calories in within the first 1/3 of the day triggers the metabolism and provides the fuel for when your body will actually need and use it
