Cross bars for bed

Hi,

Sorry if this is a repeated topic but I’m exploring options for cross bars for Retrax tonneau covers.

Ultimately, I’m looking to add cross bars to hold either a storage box or cargo basket rack to hold gear for travel and vacations.

I was looking at the Yakima site, all their products look nice, plus seemed to pair well with each other when adding more accessories down the road…

A few months back I reached out to Santana @ Real Truck to upgrade my Retrax cover with rails, initially quoted $345, now $430… ouch!

 

I have the Retrax PRO MX option, I don’t have the XR slotted rails. Does anyone know if there is options to add cross bars/ accessories without having slotted rails?
