Are you saying your 2023 Tundra 4x4 has ALSD?

No, I honestly don't know. And based on its uselessness as experienced in my Tacoma I am not going to waste time trying to figure it out.

Any update on this, I have the same problem. I also took a photo of start sequence where all the lights light up and LSD is not one of them

Toyota case rep, as well as dealer have both made promises about solution and not followed through. The dealer said he would verify on another Gen 3 and let me know, that didn’t happen after several weeks. The case worker has made repeated promises to have tech rep contact me and give explanation, neither of those have happened after several weeks and a few calls to me from rep.
It appears the A-LSD did not carry over to Gen 3 4x4 and required Monroney labels on Gen 3 are incorrect. Not a good sign when Toyota employees stay silent.

I didn’t get any closer to answer with case worker, I did try.
My impression is Toyota doesn’t care much about clarifying or they simply don’t want to clarify.
Edit: It’s disappointing as heck that Toyota isn’t coming forward about how they can advertise and sell the new 4x4 Tundra with Automatic Limited Slip Differential when the owners manual says it doesn’t have it. Total BS.

That is really unfortunate but thanks for trying to find out. Could this potentially open themselves up to a lawsuit if it turns out it doesn't have an A-LSD but is being advertised like it does?

I had a 1984 Tacoma, it was an awesome truck. One day after a rain storm, I got the truck stuck on flat and level dirt road with mud less than one inch deep, one front wheel spinning and one rear wheel spinning. My neighbor drove by me in his car and called a tow truck for me.
That was the last truck I purchased without a posi rear end until the 2022 Tundra 4x4, my bad for thinking Toyota would explain the Automatic Limited Slip Differential advertised on the Monroney Label (window sticker).

Hey, sorry for reviving a somewhat dormant thread, but I've been trying to get a similar answer for a few weeks and I found this thread. My question is slightly different, I'm trying to figure out if my 22 SR5 non-TRD 4wd has atrac rather than just alsd. Is there any consensus on if atrac carried over to 3rd gen? the atrac on the older tundras worked pretty well, at least better than nothing. I'm hoping they didn't leave that behind but haven't been able to get a straight answer on that much like the alsd question of this thread. atrac was mentioned a few times here so I was wondering if anyone here knew for sure?

edit- Well I actually just found this page: https://www.roadblazing.com/2022-toyota-tundra-crewcab-capstone-4x4-bottom-line-review/

I'm grasping at straws having searching for an answer for weeks, but this writeup is for the Capstone and I don't know if this translates to other non-TRD levels and also don't know where they're getting their info from. This writeup, when discussing the power train options, states this under the 'standard' option:
    Standard Powertrain: iForce V35A-FTS intercooled twin-turbocharged 3.5L DOHC 24V DI gas V-6 w/ idle Start/ Stop = 348 to 389 hp / 405 to 479 lb-ft @ 2400 rpm + 10-spd. torque converter planetary automatic transmission + (AVAILABLE) 2-speed electronic transfer case 1.00 : 2.64 4-wheel drive to an open front & 3:31:1 ratio E-limited slip rear differentials + ATRAC 4-wheel drive traction control.

    So maybe?

Thanks for that. I believe regarding the OP, the confusion was that the drivetrain lists alsd for 4wd models but when the trac button is pushed no dash light comes one indicating the mode is activated. My taco had that light, I guess the 4wd Tundra's don't so there was confusion on if the brochures and window stickers were incorrect or if they just didn't put an indicator on the dash.

My question is more centered around atrac, I believe toward the end of the 2nd gens Toyota rolled the 'atrac' terminology into "trac" for the Tundra (or so I've read), but atrac was still there. I wasn't sure if this carried over to the 3rd gens.
