    Firmware updates are somewhat frequent, and issues with the Maestro can affect the head unit. I know it was a problem with my Kenwood for a bit.

    I probably would have been fine if I left it on the original firmware after I installed lol. But I updated at some point and then all of the sudden I was getting random freezes and reboots. Then updated again and it was fine. If I were buying new I’d grab the RR2, just for easier updates and settings tweaks.
