We are trying out a 2022, 19,500 mi, manufactured 06/2022. Found out that Toyota starting using a new supplier to correct the engine issues w the waste gate, truck dying within minutes if a warning. Does anyone know if this truck was manufactured before the new supplier or after? I can’t get Toyota to tell us; they say check w dealership. That makes no sense & several dealerships have no idea. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

    Alot of them
I highly doubt that they are using a new supplier. Even if they did, it doesn't happen that quick. Dealerships don't know anything. They are there to make a sale and that is all that they care about. The model year change has had enough issues that I wouldn't buy one.

There was no new supplier. It was faulty batches that were corrected.
