Anyone with the new Tundra have this seat pop issue? Every time I get out of my seat, there is a loud pop from underneath. Of course, the dealership, "doesn't hear anything."

I think I heard it once or twice at "that corner" of the seat. when I put a lot of weight in that one area before making that last push to getting out. I just chalk it up to putting weight on joints inside the seat and rubbing whatever is inside, but who knows

I hear it all the time when getting out. I don't like the plastic piece on the side of the seat and I think that's what's causing it? Maybe plastic on plastic or something like that

There have been some issues reported on later model 2.5 gens, seat rail issues, that were fixed under warranty. Not heard of the issue on a 22. Time for a visit to the dealer. If they say they cant replicate, shoot a quick vid of it happening with your phone so they can see that when you drop it off.

    Too many, but not enough....
Cant believe this is still a problem on the new gens, though its somewhat comforting to know that some things never change.

I have the noise too, but its only when i put weight on the seat adjustment lever, i dont have the power seats. Its most likely your plastic seat adjustment lever, try to not put any weight on it when hopping out and see if that helps

I'm a big guy and a lot of times the plastic trim piece on the side will catch & "pop" when I get out of the my truck. Happens more often now that I lifted the truck and exit has turned more into a "slide." haha.

I'm more concerned with the outer seat bolster support getting beat down or wearing through.

Update on seat pop. Dealership said they don't hear anything...of course...but...they are not totally lying. Since it has warmed up here (Eastern NC) the pop is totally gone. It only was happening while it was freezing outside.

I don't get a pop from underneath the seat, but recently I've noticed a popping from within the seat behind my back. Anytime I push my back further into the seat I get the pop and the same once I relieve pressure off the seat back. Anyone had this?

Yes. Mine sounds like a creaky board when I flex the upper part of the seat. Either by leaning back, or when I get out of the truck.
I thought it was better, but it didn’t completely go away.

Exact same thing started happening to me today. If I lean back/forward I get a "pop" sound. Feels like a piece of plastic popping in and out of shape.

Yep that's exactly what it feels like! Not a huge deal but it's annoying. I'll have Toyota look at it soon.

I was laughing at how silly some of the complaints here were, but this one started happening to me today. It's not a big deal but definitely feels like poor fitment internally.

I'm sure it would be an easy fix if I took the seat apart... But I'm not going to do that!

Yes getting the same thing. It was like that when I test drove the truck with 2 miles on it. Not any better now with 800 miles. Waiting to see for other resolutions before I bring it in to my dealer.

Yeah I made this post a little bit prior to so many people having their seats literally breaking so I don't feel so bad anymore!

My new 2022 Tundra driver side seat plastic broke within 3 months. I went to the dealership where I bought it, and the service writer implied that I broke it due to my size and that it would not be covered under warranty. I took it to another dealer and was told it wasn’t covered under warranty also. During my next scheduled maintenance at the dealership where I bought it, a different service writer replaced it under warranty. That one has also broken. I’ll see if they replace it again under warranty at my next service interval. Very disappointing, but refreshing to hear that I’m not the only one dealing with this.
Make the damn thing out of hard rubber if it’s meant to support our body weight.
