At the pool of the campground yesterday a massive group showed up consisting of over 10 kids and supporting adults. One of the guys had an epic meltdown in front of me and my wife because everyone swarmed him as he was just simply trying to get into the pool. The adults swarmed him, the kids swarmed him, and I'm fairly certain the butterflies and bees stopped what they were doing, too.

It made for a good laugh when he realized what he did and that there was an audience for it.

We had some power work done at the bunker today, so I was working off the battery backups/inverter setup for 20-30 minutes. Not a big deal, but all the lights off with bright monitors combined with the high pitch squeal of the battery systems alarm has given me quite the headache. Thank goodness for excedrin.

Now I'm intrigued. Is there a post where you've captured the details? I tried running a sump pump off an inverter and it was an epic failure, so we have a portable generator for the house now, but I just recently looked at the Tesla Power Wall and it really has me thinking since the price is low after rebates and incentives

Family. That's about all I can figure out. The typical "let me just walk over here and do X real quick" and they pounce because, you know, family. His exactly reaction was "what!?!?!?!? How is that I walked away from you all and yet I have zero personal space right now? Like, not even an inch!" To which the women look shocked the kids all scattered, and suddenly he was alone and processing what just happened. It was hysterical. Like, we're talking a total of 15 feet separation and they caged him in.

So, I'm sitting here this morning waking up (slept in till 1015 :D), and I check the weather to see what the day is going to be like... (side note: when I first woke up, the ocean was abnormally loud for a summer day it normally doesn't sound like this until fall and into winter) :notsure:

Anyhow, today was supposed to be the warmest day for us during this 'heat' wave. For the past several days weather has been showing high temps today being predicted between 74-78 degrees (which usually means 78-82 for us), and in the valley (off the 5) they were to see temps in the low to mid 100s, which would bring a TON of people to the coast to escape the heat...

Well, the weather gods are showing now that are high for the day will only reach 71 ; still warm but much more manageable. Bottom line is that prayers have been answered and suffering will be minimal .

Thank you for watching. Carry on!!!!

Probably some of that good Oregon :rasta: we sacrificed to them...

Hell, I'm pretty sure the state gives it to folks for free through some tax funded 'take care of the dope addicts that can't keep a job and have no inspiration to be a productive member of society' program...

You have a 1000+ degree oven in there; it's always hot in there... I'd think you'd walk outside, and even in these temps it would still feel cool to you...

I don't mind the bite, at least no more than the next person does, it's the proclivity for US electrics catching fire that gives me the willies. My 70's wiring really needs some attention but 'out of sight, out of mind'...

This guy was flying over my house all last weekend. Was pretty cool to have him buzz the house at 1,500 feet 4-5 times per day. Registered to some company out of TX and looking at the flight history they go everywhere giving paid flights.

I keep saying "Someday..." but I'd better hurry up. There cannot be too many left that are still airworthy.

Reminds me of the infernal orange pro color from 2015. Really handy for Halloween parades!
For a couple grand a good paint job in Super White would add about 200hp. That’s a much better deal than a super charger!
