Do the Hybrid Rear Seats Lift Up like the other models? If they do, assume the batteries are covered?

Yes they lift up, and yes there are battery covers for the storage bins which are in the non hybrids and house the batteries.

On our 3r gen hybrid the seats can be pulled up on both sides and on driver side is where the 12vdc agm battery lives and is vented to the outside. It has an inspection door that slides open with a twist from a Flathead screwdriver. I am going to leave seats up so as to have a little temporary storage and drop down when i have more riders. i tapped into the battery with a 12v cig lighter socket to run my 12vdc scissors jack and impact in case of a flat.
