Got mine today. Its a nice mount.

Problem is, the vent ring (what it mounts to) itself has a little play. Therefore, when I hit bumps in the road the phone/mount jiggles a little bit. Anybody else have this issue?

For the time being, I wedged some weather strip between the vent ring and dash trim. Maybe thats my only option...

I just bought and installed Off Roam. Love it. Mine shakes some but doesn't move. I have it pretty snug

Been using one for a good while now…I do notice some slight movement but very minor.
The proclip seems legit too but I prefer the lower mounting position of the offroam

Just ordered one from Proclip; will post a review once I receive it.

Off Roam mount guys, there was a reveiew of an individual that had issues as well with the mount being secure and he replaced the 3M foam. May want to give that a try if it continues to move around a bit.

I've been happy with my ProClip for a while now. Phone stays in my line of sight but also below the hood line.

I bought the Course Motorsports mount, but haven't had a chance yet to install it.

    https://coursemotorsports.com/colle...ct-fit-phone-mount-toyota-tundra-sequoia-2022

I like the idea of the lower mounting position, and a vehicle specific mount, but can't recommend for or against without some actual use.

I have a tech deck in my Tacoma with Ram mounts on it, and it's way more intrusive than I wanted to go for this truck. The Bulletpoint system seems to take the same approach, of making something significantly more complicated than it needs to be.

It appears they make these for several generations, but I have a gen 3, not 2.5.

Any photos of your phone in place? Just curious how secure the clamp to the phone is and if it slips down at all when in verticle position.

Looks like you do some disassembly around your screen, not a big deal I assume. Best way to do it for sure rather than any of the vent mounts I have seen. I tried the CARMOUNT stick on version and no ideal location for it but found a spot just below the vent on the imitation leather. Held up fairly well for quite a few months but the adhesive finally gave way. The magnet was strong so no issues there, just the adhesive.

The Proclip does not require any disassembly and its design is unique in that it is essentially a clamp that slips between pieces of the dash. It will not block any dial or vent and puts the phone at almost eye level which is ideal IMO, and below the hood line.

It will then accept all manner of phone holders. I am using the KlockWerks which holds the phone very solidly but still allows for easy adjustment without having to loosen a clamp on the back like the Course, which in my experience is a pain and because it is plastic, is prone to break.

I'll post up some pics of the mount with the phone in it tonight when I get home from work.

Phone is an iPhone 12. The mount is adjustable, has a subtle lip at the bottom, and has some ability to swivel slightly. I usually have to retighten it a couple of times a year.
