I’m here in Texas and 2022 limited 4WD are still very high priced used. I found a 2022 4WD crewmax, moonroof, with 92k (miles make me cringe a bit) for 45,300 out of state. Figured I’ll have it for 5-10 years and can supplement the high mileage with an extended warranty.

Also considering a 2022 sr5 4WD Crewmax with Kat skin leather with TSS off-road package, 8in screen, manual seats, and 35k miles for 43,800.

Thoughts on if either one is worth pulling the trigger on? Thanks in advance for your help.

Things will probably recover a lot this coming year. Providing something stupid doesn't happen. I got mine a little over a year ago it has 14000 on it. They have a few on lot where I got mine. But, no limited.

Don't buy a 2022+ if you're looking to buy high milage truck. It's unproven, too many things can break and you're out of warranty, factory warranty can only be purchased up to 36k miles.

Looks at 2021 and earlier trucks as those are proven reliable and will be a smart reliable choice for you as you're on a budget.

Where are some of these other threads?

I’m in a similar boat, looking at new SR5 with manual seats, 4x4 off-road package, bigger tank and coming up to $56,xxx.

Not seeing any used under $48k for same truck with 40k+ miles. Hell, 2021’s are still pushing $50k with low miles.

Would love to be in low 40’s and have enough warranty left to buy an extended warranty.

Please look at new if you are considering anything above $45k. I had to check, and my new (at the time) '22 with sport package and a few add-ons was $45k base and $52k new. The warranty and knowing its a new car without some other schmuck trashing it was worth it to me.
