2022 automatic start

So I have a platinum 2022 Tundra and have a question about the A/C, heat and auto start. First, I'll have the A/C on, park and turn it off, then when I get back in the A/C is off. If I want to auto start my truck so it's cooler when I get in how do I keep the A/C on? Same with the heat. Also, when you auto start, do your trucks turn off when you open the door? TIA fellas.

 

Not sure this will be much help, but on my 2021 Ltd, the hvac system will start up upon autostart exactly where I left it when I shut it off.

AFAIK, all trucks will shut off when the door is opened unless they have an aftermarket auto start installed.
