2022 TRD Off Road - Phone Contacts upload / list from iPhone

Going to the well here again because my Dealership is stumped...
Had MM display replaced recently and it was a debacle for about a month, but thanks to info provided in the 3rd Gen forum and Toyota Engineering stepping in, it got resolved, all is well now... Apparently

So, I am able to establish my profile, Personal Info, connect/pair different phones, etc... but one weird thing that is happening is - when I update the Favorites list on my iPhone it will update on the truck MM screen, but it won't save... Thus far I have done a "Refresh" on my "Personal Info", disconnected / reconnected my paired device (iPhone) and all appears to be updated on the truck, but as soon as I put her in drive and start moving, the new contacts in my Favorites list do the incredible disappearing act... GONE from Fav list.

Please help

Example:
If I add one of my contacts (on iPhone) to my Favorites list, on my phone, and go to truck and do a "Refresh" on Personal Info, the favorites list on the truck appear SAT..... Until i start driving, then POOF, nothing up my sleeve and PRESTO - they disappear from truck favorites list

The contacts list stays in tact, but sayonara to the new favorites...

 

dealership asked me to go through the "Forget" device process and re-pair the iPhone,,, I believe it's a grasp but I'll try it...
just for shits-and-grins i changed the photo (on phone) on one om my favorites contacts, same scenario... it's all good until I put truck in drive and move fwd... She gone, bye-bye...

any chance you attempted this? i believe my dealership and their Toyota rep are stumped!
