    Hello to all
Complete newbie here with a question for all. I have had my dream truck for a month now with zero problems and I absolutely love it. It is a 2011 new to me crewmax with 122,000 miles on it and runs like a well tuned machine. My question is I have been reading about the 5.7 having timing chain tensioner problems on the driver side of the engine, so far mine is quiet as a mouse so should I keep worrying my self to deth about it or just ride and enjoy it. The car fax showed a good service history on it and I can tell the truck has been taken care of at a local dealer since new. Is there any thing I can do to prevent this problem or is it just something to look not forward to? As I said earlier this is my dream truck and I have worked a long time to get it and dont want anything to happen to it , a lot more payments to go :fingerscrossed:

No problems with timing chain or anything else at 198K miles. No problems. No worries (not with my Tundra, at least).

Have it checked according to the dealer's/mfg maintenance guide...drive it and enjoy.

128K second owner every oil change on time , 81k even since owned, Chain tensioner I wouldn't worry about since with any thing you can hit the lottery meaning it can be great for a long time or it's unlucky and bad and or pro oil changes. if it is not making making noise or a current issue don't replace at low miles. If it was higher 200-300k mileage and having work performed in the area and would save move money to have replaced now vs later then do other wise don't worry.
