I'm taking my 2022 Tundra to dealership for a 30K service.
The secretary stated over the phone that they recommend having brake fluid flushed at 30K?
I did not see that listed by Toyota?
    1. Anyone know if this brake fluid change is recommended?
    2. Any recommendation on engine and cabin air filters?

Seems like a dealer attempted money grab if Toyota is not recommending it.

Toyota engineers know more than your dealer. Plus the financial conflict of interest

Have them do a moisture check on the brake fluid. Then you decide........Toyota does not have a specific time to change the brake fluid.

Is the brake fluid DOT 4?

Have to check the reservoir cap to be sure. Dot3 and 4 come in the same bottle anyways.

I passed on the brake fluid change for now since my truck is only 1 year old.
They did suggest checking the alignment. I would normally say no but since I just got new tires last week it looks like some experts do recommend getting this done occasionally
Does anyone get their alignment checked every time they get new tires?

I was surprised they didn't suggest the front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid.
Since I have a 4x4 and its 30K I went ahead and told the dealer to do these fluids.(per video in post #7 above) even though I have towed but nothing heavy.
I was also surprised at the cost variation for the fluid change between two dealerships and a mom/pop local mechanic.

The only thing that needs to be done at 30k is an oil change and an air filter. Everything else is a rip off. I wait till 75,000 to do my differential and transfer case fluids. Throw in a cabin filter every 15,000 you’re good to go.
